Teaching with Clickers at UM - 1:25 pm

Hosted by

How can you find out what your students know in the middle of a lecture? How can you have student discussion in a class with 100 students? How can you have students process the information you are presenting as they are hearing it?

In order to advance instruction at UM, we have standardized on a student response system called i>clicker. There are a number of exciting ways that it can be used in class. Attend this session to try out this technology and begin thinking about how you might use it in your classes this spring.

There will be five sessions throughout the day: 9:05 am, 10:10 am, 11:15 am, 12:20 pm, and 1:25 pm. All of them will have the same agenda. All of them will have time for discussion by the participants. Attend any session that fits your schedule.
