Demystifying Government Documents

Presented by

Government and international documents are essential resources for researchers. These publications deal with a wide variety of topics such as international affairs, epidemics, declassified information, environmental issues, poverty, bioethics, regulations, nuclear issues, drug trafficking, national and international trade, public policy, etc. You can also locate information about recent legislations, reports, maps, and statistics. Our libraries are a selective depository library for the U.S. government, the State of Florida, the Organization of American States, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. We also have materials from the United Nations, the World Bank, OECD, UNESCO and other inter-governmental organizations. This session will focus on demystifying government and international documents and provide a general overview of the different kinds of publications.
